For those absolute and literal last minute christmas shoppers, this year you don't have a lot to choose from store wise. The blog The Pop Herald reports that one of Google's most popular search terms this morning are people seeing which stores are open today, on the 25th.

Many stores that had extended hours on and around Thanksgiving are not doing so today.

Large retailers like Walmart, Target, Kmart, and Best Buy are all closed. If you need last-second grocery shopping, Winn-Dixie may be your best bet as Publix and Sweetbay are both closed. The grocery store chain is open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., although its pharmacy is closed. All speaking of pharmacies, all Walgreens stores will keep their posted hours -- including 24 hour locations -- and many CVS stores will also be open on Christmas.

Also local stores near to you could be seen open and if you want to check them too you will have to ring or possibly travel to them.

The 2010 Santa Tracker service has been reignited from the North American Aerospace Defense Command. In 1955, the agency that evolved to become NORAD began keeping track of the travels taken by Santa Claus. This came from a Sears department store which misprinted a phone number which implied that kids could "talk to Santa" on christmas eve.

Kids instead got sent to the Continental Air Defense office, who gave them the “current location” of Santa.

You can call the 2010 NORAD Santa tracker team to get Santa’s current location by dialing 1-877-446-6723. The Santa Tracker team also answers any e-mails sent to noradtrackssanta@gmail.com. The Twitter account, @noradsanta also tracks Santa’s location. You can also use Google Earth as a Santa Tracker. This year, using Google Maps Mobile, NORAD Santa Tracker can deliver Santa’s current location to directly to any cell phone. Along with Pryor, running back Daniel Herron, wide receiver DeVier Posey, offensive lineman Mike Adams and defensive end Solomon Thomas must sit out and repay between $1,000 to $2,500 to charity.

Pryor must repay $2,500 for selling his 2008 Big Ten championship ring, Fiesta Bowl sportsmanship award and his 2008 gold pants, a trinket given to players who are a part of a team which beats rival Michigan. Ohio State athletic director Gene Smith said the school will appeal the suspensions.

So the players must pay the penalty for dishonest profitting from their sales of club periphenalia.

DiCaprio's "Inception" made $1.1 billion at the global box office, while "Alice in Wonderland" made $1.03 billion.

Wasikowska also starred in the critically-acclaimed film "The Kids Are All Right," with Annette Benning and Julianne Moore. That film earned a respectable $29 million at the box office - a healthy return, since the film was made on just a $4 million dollar budget, Forbes notes.

According to reports from E! Online, star of High School Musical, Zac Efron has been getting close to actress, Taylor Schilling. The two are co-stars on a new movie called "The Lucky One" and according to E!, “They joke around, eat together sometimes, run lines. Nothing out of the ordinary.”

Taylor Schilling was born on July 27th, 1984 (which makes her to be 26 years of age at the time of this writing) in Boston, Massachusetts.

In 2009, Schilling landed her first major acting gig with the NBC drama called Mercy. Schilling played the leader character in that show. About landing the role and the show itself, Schilling said, “It’s relatable. These characters aren’t glossy. It doesn’t strike me as soap opera–y."

So another pair of co-stars look to be getting together. Time will tell whether they will become a real item or not.

Last night saw reality TV star and singer of 80's rock band Poison, Brett Michaels, propose to his long time girlfriend, Kristi Gibson, and he did it on the final show of his reality tv show. When Brett was asked about how he felt about being engaged he said that "it feels awesome!"

Gibson, who turns 40 on Christmas, said this is the best birthday and Christmas present she could ever receive, and commented about her relationship with Michaels through all of the ups and downs they’ve been through this year.

“I’ve been through everything with him,” Gibson told People. “A ring and a paper wouldn’t make me love him more. I’m just happy he’s alive.”

So it looks like free spirited rocker Brett Michaels CAN settle down. A date for the forthcoming wedding is unknown.

She also was featured as one of Maxim's Hot 100 in 2007 and came in number #100.

In an interview Monday night at the Carly's Club Holiday Party, Ryan called his bride-to-be a "tremendous person" and said about they're engagement (via WKBW.com): "It's great!" The couple are very happy and looking forward to a trip down the aisle after they had been dating since last February.

Lange had abruptly abandoned Twain in 2008 when he fell for Marie-Ann Thiébaud, who was also Twain's best friend and closest confidante. Twain and Lange have a 9-year-old son together, Eja D'Angelo.

who won survivor

The group in Survivor endured many tribulations in their time washed away on the island but all of the finalists couldn't beat Judson "Fabio" Birza. 21-year old Birza with being the victor, became the youngest ever winner of the show and in the process bagged a $1 million prize whilst seeing off fellow contestants Matthew "Sash" Lenahan and Chase Rice.

Birza told EW.com that "winning Survivor is definitely the hardest thing I’ve ever done and the most rewarding."

Perusing his bio on the official Survivor page at CBS.com, one learns that Birza's "personal claim to fame" is "Being a rad older brother." As for his motivation for going on the show, he states: "I could do a lot with a million dollars! Plus, camping on a tropical island with a bunch of cute girls sounds like the best vacation ever."

So a great accomplishment for the youngster and one he will be proud of for the rest of his life surely.

Shrek: The Musical [Cast Recording]

SHREK THE MUSICAL was recently stamped as a "Big fat hit" by newspaper USA today, and "true happiness" by the New York Times. The Dreamworks Theatricals and Neal Street Productions, Ltd star show began at the Broadway Theatre in New York City on December 14th, 2008. In March the highly anticipated original cast recording is to be spread out by Decca Broadway and available everywhere.

On January 12th, the entire cast of SHREK THE MUSICAL will be congregating at Legacy Studios in New York City to record the cast album which will undoubtedly capture the sheer joy and infectious appeal of this not-to-be-missed stage production.

lunar eclipse

Last December 13, 2009, star gazers and sky watching enthusiasts marvelled at the glowing Geminid meteor shower. If you didn't catch that, there's good news for you because next Tuesday there's another meteor shower reports say from space.com.

The Ursids meteor shower isn't supposedly bright enough as the Geminid, but the stars and the moon are aligned on a very nice position on this night that the Ursids meteor shower will be visible.

There will be a Lunar Eclipse on December 20 or 21 depending on the area and thus, we will have a darker sky, but the stars will be brighter and the meteor shower seen. It will be visible throughout North and Central America from 11:41 p.m. PST Monday until 12:53 a.m. Tuesday, the first such eclipse in almost three years.

So a rare treat for anyone who marvels at nightsky activity and you'll have to be ready for it as there isn't another lunar eclipse till 2014!

Comedian Katt Williams has to fork out $577,929 bucks as a penalty because reportedly, he tried to scare record producer, Merion Joseph Powers with it by going to his studio in order to viciously attack Power's dog. Williams' attack dog proceeded to assault Power's dog by giving him "substantial and nearly life-threatening injuries'.

But that wasn't the only time it happened. Powers and Williams met at a hotel to talk about what had happened and according to Powers, Williams used his bodyguards and dogs to intimidate him into not pressing charges.

But what caused Katt to do this? According to Powers, he claims Williams refused to settle his $28,000 bill at a studio in Atlanta, thus is why he did those mean things.

So comedian, Williams is feeling the strong arm of the law as a result for using his pet to damage and intimidate Merion Joesph Powers. Hopefully he learns from this.
