Julianne Hough's "Is That So Wrong" music video has been banned by media because it is apparently too racy. Although some bosses are stating off the record that the ban is due to contract negotiations on interpretations whereas Hough says it's because the video is too revealing and racy.
The video shows toward the end a controversial scene where she (Hough) strips off her shirt, revealing her bra, and she then does some nice gymnastics on the bed. “Apparently I was taking off too many clothes as I was dancing around my bedroom. But I don’t know — I kind of liked it.” Said Hough. Julianne Hough is most widely known for being a two-time winner of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. Her self-titled album was released May 20, 2008, debuting at #1 on the Billboard Country Album chart and #3 on the Billboard 200. It sold 67,000 copies its first week, and has sold over 320,000 total copies.
So an unfortunate turn of events for the country singer and one she'll be hoping doesn't backfire on her popularity.
So it seems Demi Lovato is the latest to follow the trend of having racy pictures leaked onto the internet. The racy photos that were leaked onto twitter show some provocative stuff and with her currently having to sort herself out in rehab, she won't be welcoming any tabloid scandal that the pictures, showing her cleavage and flirting with a friend, will draw up.
In the Twitter pics, Demi Lovato is seen with her backup dancers (including the one she punched), as she pulls her top down and reveals cleavage. A representative for DEMI LOVATO has moved to silence rumours the troubled singer/actress is featured in a soon-to-be-leaked sex tape - branding the story "disgusting". The rep tells Gossip Cop, "Perpetrating these completely unfounded rumours from supposed sources while Demi is in treatment dealing with serious physical and emotional issues is disgusting."
So possibly a big scandal on the hands of the young actress and some controversy will be drawn up by people who think she should be setting a good example working for disney.
The Los Angeles Police Department has hesitantly marked five of the tens of women found in photos uncovered on the "Grim Sleeper" serial killer's property. All claims were taken from their tips hotline. The photos were found on the property of suspected "Grim Sleeper" serial killer, Lonnie David Franklin Jr.(pictured left), and police say they hope people will be able to remember the faces and contact them.
He said that "three or four of the five at this point" have come forward and said "it was me in the picture." "We have not confirmed that and we're going to personally interview everyone," Doan said.
Franklin, a 57-year-old mechanic, was charged with 10 counts of murder and one count of attempted murder in July in the "Grim Sleeper" case. He is accused of murdering 10 young women between 1985 and 2007 in South Los Angeles.
So it looks like the police are making progress in the case and hopefully they will be able to pinpoint the man at this point.

Shelley Malil, an actor who made an appearance in the Steve Carell classic film "The 40-Year-Old Virgin," has been in court and sentenced to life behind bars for stabbing his ex-girlfriend over twenty times. He was convicted in September or attempted murder and also with assault with a lethal weapon.
The jury had heard that Malil, 45, stabbed Kendra Keebe inside her own home after he saw her drinking wine with another man in 2008.
She suffered punctured lungs and cuts to her back, chest, neck, and arms. He was also charged with burglary for stealing marijuana and other items from her home two days before the attacked. He was acquitted of that charge. His lawyer argued that despite stabbing Keebe multiple times, Malil never intended to kill her. Malil, who played one of Carell's co-workers in the 2005 comedy, apologized before the court, saying he wanted to go to prison to "make sure I make right from the wrong that I did."
He will be able to qualify for parole in 12 years but could be out in 9 providing he shows displays of good behaviour.
With a lean supply of drugs usually used in human executions, prison bosses in Oklahoma have turned to a three-drug cocktail-including an pentobarbital, an animal euthanasia drug-to execute a murderer yesterday, Reuter reports. The convict, John David Duty (pictured left) was charged with murdering his cellmate with a bed sheet in 2001.
Prison officials said there were no issues with the use of pentobarbital, which has never been employed in an American execution before.
Attorneys had appealed its use, but a federal court in Oklahoma and an appeals court upheld its use as part of the execution, Reuters notes. Duty was already in prison serving two consecutive life sentences for robbery, shooting with intent to kill, and rape when he murdered his cellmate. After strangling his cellmate with a sheet, Duty then wrote to his victim’s mother and bragged about the murder, Reuters reports.
So the harshest penalty for the serial felon, John David Duty and the relatives and friends of the murdered cellmate should feel consoled in some way by the penalty.

Prominent weather reporter, Heidi Jones, who alleged to police she got out of a potential rape situation has now been accused of it all being a lie she made up. She was arrested at the weekend and has been taken off air by the station she works for, WABC-TV, pending an investigation by police.
According to police, Jones waited a month to report the incident and described her attacker as a stocky, Hispanic man who tackled her from behind. But when authorities canvassed the area and began to ask questions, the story didn't add up. After questioning Jones a second time, police say there were inconsistencies in her story, and when confronted, Jones confessed. Police say Jones fabricated the story after experiencing personal problems. She was charged with a misdemeanor and could face up to a year in prison if she's found guilty. Jones, Nguyen added, is scheduled to appear in court on January 15.
So a bizarre situation arisen around the TV weather reporter and hopefully she will possibly be facing a heavy penalty of a year inprisonment.
To most people the name Kate O' Brien (Pictured far left in the picture) is unknown. This was the case until last night when Amy Adams made an appearance on the Conan O' Brien show to discuss her new role in the movie "The Fighter" and the 2 chatted about Kate O'Brien, Conan's sister and an actress who starred in "The Fighter" alongside Amy Adams.
She makes her acting debut in the upcoming film “The Fighter,” which stars Mark Wahlberg, Christian Bale and Amy Adams. O’Brien plays Phyllis ‘Beaver’ Ecklund – the sister of Wahlberg’s character Mickey. Amy Adams says “she did an amazing job and she loved the experience.” Adams told Conan that to get the real local character, they did the movie with the real people. Conan’s sister said there was a lot of physical fighting that they needed to do in the movie – Amy Adams talks more about having to fake fight and her fear of fake punches.
So possibly Conan O brien's sister's big break into showbiz and she will be hoping she can get a certain amount of fame that her brother boasts having.

Tuesday saw reports of the inductees for the 2011 rock n roll hall of fame announced from a shortlist of 15 possible artists. The official announcement wasn;t supposed to be released until today but the associated press revealed that Neil Diamond, Alice Cooper, Tom Waits, Dr. John and Darlene Love will enter the hall and to add to that Leon Russell will be presented with an award for musical excellence.
Artists are only eligible to be nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 25 years after they first officially released any recorded music, meaning this year's nominees all broke into the business no later than 1985. As with Diamond and Love, it often takes multiple attempts before finally being granted entry. So, in other words, the Beastie Boys, Bon Jovi, Donovan, Kiss and all the others who didn't make the cut this year are still in the running down the line. The induction ceremony for the Class of 2011 will take place on March 14 in New York and will be televised on Fuse.
So happy news of the said artists who will want to savour the recognition they've received from the media for their achievements.
In Florida yesterday, a standard school board meeting was in the middle of discussing head lice to it's members when a gunman entered and saw the school board members begging for their lives. The gunman's name is Clay Duke and he interrupted the meeting in the Bay District School,with the gun and apparently his motive was based on the school board firing his wife, which are comments he reportedly mumbled.
In the chilling video captured by a WMBB News 13 camera, the board members try to reason with Duke and try to save one another from the gunman. At another point, Superintendent Bill Husfelt asks Duke to let everyone else go, saying Husfelt was likely the one responsible for firing Duke's wife. Duke turns his gun on Husfelt and fires, but the bullets miss Husfelt.
The video ends there, but a few moments later, a security guard entered the room and exchanged fire with Duke. One shot hit Duke in the leg. The police told the Associated Press that Duke then turned his gun on himself and committed suicide.
So a shocking tale in Florida ends with the perpetrator turning the gun on himself. Thankfully, no one else's life was taken in this traumatic ordeal

Tuesday saw Hot 97's Funkmaster Flex showcase young money president, Lil Wayne's new release, "6'7"" On "6’7" " Weezy looks to help from one of his Young Money devotees, Cory Gunz, and sees him working with "A Milli" producer, Bangladesh, again. It looks like nothing can go wrong with this new release.
Lil Wayne jumped on Shade 45 a few hours before to confirm "6’7" " as the first single off Tha Carter IV. The word on Twitter is that "6’7" " is reminiscent of one of Weezy’s best, also mentioned above, "A Milli." After seeing such commentary, RapFix turned to a few experts for their thoughts on Lil Wayne’s first single. "When I first heard all the talk about Mack Maine saying ' '6'7" ' is like 'A Milli' on steroids, I was quick to dismiss it as hyperbole," Alvin Blanco, music journalist for AOL, VIBE, XXL, and others, said. "Only time will tell if that distinction is worthy but judging by how many times I've hit 'repeat' while listening to the song, Maine wasn't all that off."

Screen brother and sister and real-life couple Michael C.Hall and Jennifer Carpenter are drawing a close to their marriage. "Having been separated for some time, Jennifer Carpenter and Michael C. Hall have filed for divorce," reps for both celebrities told EW.com.
The actors, who met on the Showtime set, have been married for two years. At the end of November, Carpenter spoke with the Los Angeles Times about her and Hall's odd navigation of their brother-sister relationship on screen, despite being lovers in real life. "We were just friends, and it was very easy to be friends," she said. "We were both surprised when this other thing happened. We did a lot of talking about it -- can we kiss, what will that mean, will we damage the credibility of our characters? We were very practical. But in the end, the heart wanted what the heart wanted."

The awards time of year is upon is and in full effect, as Blair Underwood, Josh Duhamel and Katie Holmes got up very early for sleep this morning to declare the Hollywood Foreign Press Association's nominations for the 68th annual Golden Globes.
Keeping in line with the awards and nominations already doled out this year, Tom Hooper's historical drama "The King's Speech" led the field with seven nominations, while David Fincher's searing look at the founding of Facebook, "The Social Network," and David O. Russell and Mark Wahlberg's real-life boxing tale "The Fighter" followed close behind with six apiece. Darren Aronofsky's dark ballet thriller "Black Swan" scored four nods. In other, also unsurprising news, HFPA favorite Johnny Depp will compete against himself in the Best Actor in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy category, scoring nods for his turn as the Mad Hatter in "Alice in Wonderland" and for playing the title role in Angelina Jolie-co-starring "The Tourist."
So an exciting time for the actors of the aformentioned films and they could get further praise for the efforts with an award in the their specific categories.
Dancer at the New York City ballet Jenifer Ringer, made an appearance on the Today Show this morning to answer a comment made regarding her weight from a recent NY Times review of a performance of hers in The Nutcracker. The bashing heard across the internet is dance critic Alastair Macauley saying of her that "she'd eaten one sugar plum too many".
This has since been vilified, but has gone un-apologized for. Macaulay responded to the uproar with a follow up in the NY Times defending his decision to comment on the dancer's body under the justification that if you'd rather not be critiqued on your body, don't enter the world of dance. The justification Macaulay makes is not a new one and this issue has been raised before in dance criticism. However, the dance-world and media uproar about his criticism also derive from the fact that Ringer had previously been very open about her eating disorders in the past, having admitted to overeating and anorexia.
So critic Macaualey appears to really have put his foot in it and really should be obliged to withdraw his comments to some degree.
Johnny Depp's well renowned Captain Jack Sparrow character returns to big screens next summer in the fourth installment of the Pirates Of The Caribbean series of films and this one is called "On Stranger Tides". The film will feature the usual display of merfolk, magical fountains, malicious pirates and overweight kings and is sure to draw in crowds aplenty.
Franchise writers Ted Elliot and Terry Rossio went the Thoreau route (“Simplify, simplify”) and crafted their screenplay for On Stranger Tides as a stand-alone venture featuring Captain Jack, much like the first entry in the series, The Curse of the Black Pearl. Whereas that film revolved around villainous buccaneers cursed with immortality (being undead and all), next year’s POTC flick finds the lovable but incorrigible Jack Sparrow on a quest to avoid his inevitable demise by finding the legendary Fountain of Youth.

The metrodome roof caved in onto the field this morning due to the heavy snowfall that has been falling in the twin cities and it produced a poor mans version of the winter wonderland on the mall of America field. This is the reason why the Vikings-Giants game has been postponed and shifted to a latter date than today.
Obviously, the snow on the field might actually be something that can get cleared in a timely fashion for a game that would start at noon central time; the hole in the roof makes the likelihood of more snow falling to the turf almost a certainty, and that's a safety issue. Alas, we won't get to see the old gunslinger Brett Favre having fun like a kid out there in a dome stadium on a snowy field, making all of our Frosty the Snowman jokes about his arms made of twigs a little less potent. Rats.
So NFL fans will be disappointed not to see the match today but an unavoidable issue and it had to be postponed due to unplayable conditions.
