Fifty years ago, on January 20th 1961, John F. Kennedy announced his inaugural address as the 35th president of the United States. Kennedy delivered the speech on a cold, harsh day in the capital, Washington, D.C. Despite the setting being bitter, there was much rejoicing and hope for the future.

Google has already commemorated the 50th anniversary of John F. Kennedy's Inaugural Address with a cool doodle.
