Andre Agassi gives no quarter when it comes to doing whatever it takes to raise money at a charity auction. At a charity event in Taiwan on Thursday, Agassi made a nude picture of his wife, Steffi Graf, available to be viewed by a winning bidder, so long as the bid was more than $4,000, reports Sports Illustrated.

Agassi had to own up on the promise, and the bidder appeared appreciate of his opportunity to see the pictures (pictured to left). "You pay more than $4,000, and I will show you a picture of my wife on my phone naked," Agassi said. The crowd appeared to get a kick out of it and a bidder eventually seized the opportunity to see the photo. Agassi showed the bidder his phone and then the two shook hands and hugged.

So a somewhat humourous display of devotion to the cause from former Tennis star Agassi and the recipient of the pricey view seemed to think it was worth every penny!

Saturday sees the 76th birthday of the man widely known as "The King". The lip curling, hip bopping king. This year, his yearly birthday celebration, which featured the usual fan festivities, also saw the journey of one of the 33 Chilean miners, Edison Pena, visiting graceland.

Pena would sing Elvis songs to keep up the spirits as the miners were trapped underground for 69 days last year. Back in 2003 TV show NYPD Blue showed Charlotte Ross's bare backside and as a result ABC was hit with a $1.21 million fine for violating broadcast indecenecy standards. The US Second Circuit Court of Appeals have now said that ABC does not have to pay these fines as “nudity itself is not per se indecent.”

What does this mean for new shows? Well, if networks know that they aren’t going to be slapped with fines for showing nudity, they might be more inclined to include it in their shows, just for the ratings. It’s one thing to turn on a channel like HBO or Showtime and see nudity: parents have to be aware that those sorts of channels might be showing more than we want our kids to see. But, a network like ABC or CBS? This might especially affect those of you who have tweens or older kids who are up to watch primetime television. If there are no repercussions for showing nudity, what is to stop it from being included in more shows?

So this ruling may end up producing a big trend in nudity being used to boost ratings of programs which may also result in an uproar from people not wanting it.

 Reports have emerged that Jamie Presley was arrested in Santa Monica on suspicion of Drunk driving. According to authorities, Jamie Presley, co-star on the show "My Name Is Earl", was under investigation of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Lt. Darrell Lowe says the star was stopped for a traffic violation around 11 p.m. Wednesday and booked on suspicion of DUI but he’s not releasing any details.Lowe says no traffic collision was involved. Presley’s blood-alcohol level wasn’t immediately released. The Los Angeles County sheriff’s website says the 33-year-old actress-model spent the night in jail and was released Thursday morning after posting $15,000 bail.

So an embarassing turn of events that the star will want to forget in a hurry and she will be hoping it won't be a recurring event.

The student from Omaha who went on a shooting spree at his high school on Wednesday had reportedly posted a chilling message on Facebook, giving a warning of the attack and saying that the school was to blame for driving him to such a violent conclusion.

Robert Butler Jr., 17, burst into an office at Millard South High School in Omaha during school hours and fired four to five shots, striking the assistant principal and the principal before fleeing in his car and eventually committing suicide about a mile from the school, Omaha police said. Assistant Principal Vicki Kaspar, 58, died at a hospital hours later. The principal, Curtis Case, 45, was reported in serious but stable condition. No students were injured in the shooting.

So a traumaticly sad turn of events which ends in a death and suicide. Hopefully the motive for the violence will be pinpointed soon.

At the Peoples choice awards, Queen Latifah decalred that there were a record number of votes that had been placed for the awards this time round and the figure was 175 million votes. Some of the winners of the awards included Kristen Stewart as favorite actress, Selena Gomez as Favorite Breakout Artist and Eclipse as Favorite Drama Movie.

The show pretty much left clear that twilight is still out there in kids’ minds; the movie gathered a total of four awards in the night, including Favorite Movie, Favorite Drama Movie, Favorite Movie Actress and Favorite On-Screen Team. In the side of music Eminem left the Nokia Theatre with 4 awards, Rihanna with three and Katy Perry with two People’s Choice Awards.

An Ohio homeless man called Ted Williams is the talk of the internet today after a youtube video recorded an exhibit of the wild-haired man's golden radio voice. Former DJ, Williams fell on hard times in the mid 1990's and found himself on the side of I-71 and Hudson Street in Columbus, holding aloft a sign that declared “I have a God-given gift of voice.”

This morning, a tidied-up Williams fielded job offers on the phone as he visited WNCI’s Dave & Jimmy morning show and then chatted with CBS’s The Early Show. Williams discussed his hard times with the radio jocks, admitting his addictions to alcohol and other drugs, but it was heartwarming to see him reveling in a familiar studio setting with a headset and microphone.

So a somewhat rags to riches tales here and surely off this bout of popularity he will be able to establish a financial outlet for his talent.

It occured that four of the six winning numbers in the Mega Millions drawing last night were the same precise numbers, in the same order, of the mystery numbers in the TV show "Lost". The "Lost" Numbers: 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42 and the Mega Millions Draw: 4, 8, 15, 25, 47, 42.

They are the numbers that haunted every "Lost" fan for years and now there is real life meaning to them. On the ABC show, the character Hurley picks the numbers and wins $114 million in a Mega Lotto Jackpot. Last night's Mega Millions drawing was for $350 million. One of the co-creators of "Lost," Damon Lindelof, claimed on Twitter that 9,078 people played Hurley's numbers in the MegaMillions Tuesday night, each winning $150.

So a spooky turn of events in the lottery and some people have certainly reaped mass rewards for playing the exact numbers.

China is still a long way from being able to fly a stealth aircraft, despite the images that are surfacing that they have a working prototype, a US Navy Official said on Wednesday. The Wall Street Journal published images of what it said appeared to display a Chinese J-20 stealth fighter prototype in proces of making high speed taxi test.

Asked when China would be able to field the jet, Vice Admiral David Dorsett, director of naval intelligence, said it would be years. Dorsett told reporters the published photos left a lot of questions unanswered. "In terms of the stealth photos, the IOC (initial operational capability) on the stealth aircraft, it's still not clear to me when it's going to become operational," he said. "Developing a stealth capability with a prototype and then integrating that into a combat environment is going to take some time," he said.

So the Chinese technology hasn't developed enough with this aircraft for it to be launched just yet.

birds fall from sky

Environmental workers picked up all of the carcasses on Sunday of around 2000 red-winged blackbirds that had fallen from the sky in a central Arkansas town. All of the birds had fell from the sky on Friday Night over a 1-mile area of Beebe, and an aerial survey reported that no other dead birds were located outside of that area.

Robertson said the workers wore the suits as a matter of routine and not out of fear that the birds might be contaminated. He said speculation on the cause is not focusing on disease or poisoning. Arkansas Game and Fish Commission ornithologist Karen Rowe said Saturday the birds showed physical trauma, and speculated that "the flock could have been hit by lightning or high-altitude hail." The commission said that New Year's Eve revelers shooting off fireworks could have startled the birds from their roost and caused them to die from stress.

The birds are currently being sent to laboratories to try and pinpoint the cause of death to the flock.

Bill Erwin, actor who is most well known for his emmy-nominated part as a crotchety old man on "Seinfeld", passed away at his home in Studio City, California, on Wednesday at 96 of age-related causes, the Los Angeles Times reports. He was a well respect actor whose lengthy career spanned films, television and the stage.

Erwin starred in a 1993 episode of "Seinfeld," playing an elderly man named Sid Fields with whom Jerry Seinfeld volunteers to spend time. Erwin's portrayal of the foul-mouthed, paranoid shut-in became one of the more memorable guest spots in the show's history. Fields is convinced that the CIA is after him, his maid is stealing his money and Jerry has come to kill him. "I wasn't born yesterday," Fields says in the episode. "I might drop dead today, but I sure as hell wasn't born yesterday."

So the actor passes away but leaves a huge body of work behind him so he won't be forgotten anytime soon.

Brett Favre has made the headlines for his alleged sexual-harassment against an entourage of women that were connected to the New York Jets organization. The New York Post have claims, "The Jets were hit with an explosive sexual-harassment lawsuit yesterday by two women who claim they were fired after one of them complained about sleazy text messages from former quarterback Brett Favre.”

The two women, Christina Scavo and Shannon O’Toole, claim in their suit that Christina was let go after she came forward with allegations Brett had solicited her for a threesome and Shannon was soon let go as Christina got her the job with the team. Christina approached the organization after Brett began coming onto her in the summer of 2008 according to the suit. In one instance, Brett texted another team masseuse asking her and Christina for a threesome. “Brett here, you and crissy want to get together im all alone.” He followed this up a short while later with, “Kinda lonely tonight I guess I have bad intentions.”

So Brett Favre still making the papers despite his football career being over and certainly not something he wanted to make headlines for.

The brushed stainless steel surface of the band is awesome, shiny but matte at the same time. On the left side of the watch the TAG Heuer text logo is prominently displayed in a large font, etched into the case.

On the picture used by amazon.com it looks like a completely different and ugly watch. It's so much nicer in reality, google it and find a real picture.

I am so pleased with it, it feels great to wear and has a distinctive cool attitude about it. Also it was 600 USD cheaper than in stores in Sweden...

So an impressive model of watch which boasts clinically efficient timing with a stylish exterior.

Anne Francis, the woman who played the first female detective on the TV series ABC's "Honey West" in 1965, has passed away. She is reported to have died of pancreatic cancer in Santa Barbara, California and she was 80 years old. Francis appeared in countless TV shows between 1949 and 2004.

To list Francis' roles on TV would be like listing all of the shows that were made between 1949 and 2004. Let's just say they included 'Kraft Theater,' 'Rawhide,' 'The Untouchables,' 'Route 66,' 'Alfred Hitchcock Presents,' 'The Man From U.N.C.L.E.,' 'The Invaders,' 'Mission: Impossible,' 'My Three Sons,' 'Columbo,' 'Dallas,' 'Home Improvement,' 'Wings' and 'Without a Trace.' She also guest starred in a classic episode of 'The Twilight Zone' that was shown last weekend during Syfy's marathon of the show.

So a legendary actress leaves us, but with a huge body of work behind her which means she will be hard to forget anytime soon.

iphone alarm glitch

News about this iphone alarm glitch has spread like wildfire across the internet by now. This is due to a bug in Apple's iOS 4 software that's disabling the ability for alarms in iphones to ring in 2011. There is however a method to get around this bug and make the alarm work as normal.

The fix, is simple. All you need to do is set the alarm as recurring. So instead of a daily alarm set for 6:45, set the alarm for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday for 6:45. Even if you just set it for Monday, Tuesday or Tuesday, Wednesday, that would do it too. It's just the single alarm that is not working. Apple did say that the problem will auto-correct itself on Monday, but many people have found out that's not exactly the case. So until there's a software fix or something more substantial, setting your alarm as recurring is all you should need to do to get up on time tomorrow.

So an unexpected glitch from such a high profile product and Apple will not be pleased with the unrest the bug has caused.

UK actor Pete Postlethwaite, most widely known to American audiences for his Oscar-nominated role in 1993's biographical film about IRA bombers "In The Name Of The Father", has died at the age of 64 this past Sunday. The BBC reports that Postlethwaite passed away peacefully in a hospital in Shropshire, England after a on-running battle with Cancer.

Postlethwaite's 40-year career encompassed both stage and screen, including a stint in the 1980s with the Royal Shakespeare Company after years of working in regional English theater. With the kind of instantly recognizable face crucial for a character actor — sunken, bony cheeks, broad forehead and a bulbous nose. His career saw memorable roles in films such as "The Usual Suspects," "Brassed Off" and "Amistad." and he also made forays into big-budget Hollywood fare, including "Alien 3," Baz Luhrmann's "Romeo + Juliet," "Inception," "Clash of the Titans" and "The Lost World: Jurassic Park."

So a sad passing of a great actor and thankfully according to the reports it was a peaceful passing.

Paula Abdul

Paula Abdul has declared that contrary to popular belief, she does have a brain. The American Idol judge and new face of CBS reality show "Live To Dance" says the claims that she isn't all there are stupid. She also claims that she has never been intoxicated with Alcohol.

"I am intelligent," Abdul told Julie Chen of CBS News' 'Sunday Morning.' "Having a brain, that's a concept, yes, with Paula Abdul. I have a brain." Rumors persisted that Abdul was under the influence of some sort of substance during live shows of 'Idol,' but those are all bunk, she says. "I've never had a drinking problem... Even though I've been in this business for quite some time," Abdul said. "I've never physically been drunk in my life. I've never been drunk in my life. I don't use recreational drugs. But, I am goofy."

She will be hoping her new reality show is a success and she is able to build on her success on the pop music talent contest "American Idol".

Avril Lavigne Died

Avril Lavigne has not died from the result of a snowboarding accident in Whistler. Today false death reports of the pop star are surfacing on Twitter. They claim Lavigne was on a Whistler Snow Trail with Brody Jenner when it happened. The false reports have hit just as Lavigne debuts her new song which fans have been praising on Facebook sunday.

Since 2009, fake celebrity death reports have become more frequent, more encompassing, and faster spreading. Initially spread via message boards in 2009, such reports spread quicker in 2010 via the popularity of Twitter. But as the fake reports grew, their lack of originality remained unchanged . Whether it’s Nick Jonas in 2009 or Lavigne in 2011, celebrity death reports generally start with a vacation spot, add a fake crash, and usually insert a vehicle like a train, plane, or car.

So another fabricated story about another celebrity which is sure to be a talking point as to why it was started.

Rock-and-roll legend Chuck Berry fell ill and was examined by Ambulance medics before a show on Saturday Night, declared a chicago fire official. However, a member of the crowd said that Berry slumped over amidst the show and had to go offstage for at least 20 minutes.

Fire Department spokesman Joe Roccasalva said Berry felt better and signed a release after being checked out.



Roccasalva said the confusion arose because emergency personnel later responded to a patron at the show who was unwell. Berry, 84, is known for his classic songs including "Maybelline," "Johnny B. Goode," and "Roll Over Beethoven." His agent Dick Alen said he had no information on the matter. Concertgoer Steve Handwerker said Berry was giving an erratic, out-of-tune performance.

So a worrying display from the aged pioneer of rock n' roll and here's hoping there isn't anything more sinister for him to deal with.
