Maria Shriver and husband Arnold Schwarzenegger carried the casket of Sargent Shriver(pictured left) today at his funeral mass at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, the Shriver family's church in Potomac, Md. A lot of famous names turned up to pay their respects including President Bill Clinton, First lady Michelle Obama, U2's Bono and Oprah Winfrey.

Others on the guest list included Muhammad Ali, Clint Eastwood and congresswoman Nancy Pelosi, reports AP. Wyclef Jean played piano and sang All the Ends of the Earth as guests including the Shriver family clapped along. Later, Vanessa Williams sang Soon and Very Soon. At a wake held for Shriver on Friday, some of Washington's most notable figures extended condolences to the family. Shriver, the husband of Special Olympics founder Eunice Kennedy Shriver, died Tuesday at age 95.

So a fitting tribute paid to the man at his funeral with many well known faces there to pay their respects.

Spy from Russia, Anna Chapman is hoping viewers will turn on a new Russian television show where she promises to deliver "secrets". However the secrets will not be on her years of experience working undercover in America but they are mysteries from around the world.

The director of documentary programs on the private network REN TV, said program of Chapman’s debut Friday night will focus on the scars and marks on the skin. A seductive slogan for the show quotes Chapman as saying: “I will discover all the secrets, if you have the courage.” Chapman stripped to lingerie in a photo shoot for the Russian edition of Maxim, on the cover of the November issue under “For Your Eyes Only." and a month earlier, she attended a Russian rocket launch in Kazakhstan where she put aside questions of a journalist.

So an interesting prospect in store for those wanting to know more about world mysteries that no one has been able to explain.

keith olbermann fired

MSNBC cable news personality Keith Olbermann was ousted from his position on the network yesterday and gives up his position of one of the most well known news personalities on either side of the political spectrum. Olbermann was reportedly in the midst of a 4 year $30 million deal which was to see him last until 2012.

However he announced on last night's edition of Countdown that it was his last. The dismissal is said to be at least indirectly related to Comcast's acquiring of NBC and the parent company's distaste for his defiance and attitude. Sources said network brass basically paid the pundit to scram by working out an agreement in which he would get lost and continue to be paid. He will have to stay off the air at least until fall as a result.

So a boot out of the blue for the well known reporter and what he endeavours to do next with his talents is to be seen.

john f. kennedy inaugural address

Fifty years ago, on January 20th 1961, John F. Kennedy announced his inaugural address as the 35th president of the United States. Kennedy delivered the speech on a cold, harsh day in the capital, Washington, D.C. Despite the setting being bitter, there was much rejoicing and hope for the future.

A woman in an American mall has been made famous by mall security cameras capturing footage of her walking right into and falling into a fountain because of being preoccupied with texting. Cathy Cruz Marrero’s fall was caught on video(pictured left) by mall security cameras and it’s nearing 2 million views on YouTube.

And apparently, she now wants to sue the mall for making her famous. “I didn’t get an apology, what I got was, ‘At least nobody knows it was you,’ ” Marrero said in an interview on “Good Morning America” today. “But I knew it was me.” As all classy folks looking for a quick buck do, she jumped in front of the cameras. Marrero was so oblivious that she had no idea what happened till her face hit the water. “Unfortunately, I didn’t have anything to grab onto and hold my balance,” she said.

So a very unfortunate and undeniably hilarious moment could prove to also be a profitable one from the woman in this incident.
