Mark Sanchez, quarterback for the New York Jets is being castigated by sections of the media for reportedly getting it on with a 17 year old high school girl called Eliza Kruger (pictured left), and very much considered a minor. the 24 year old has however stated that she lied about her age which is why it happened.

So if he didn’t know she was underage. And even though she was 17, is that even a crime? Not in New York or New Jersey. But it’s the idea of a grown man, a famous grown man, is dating a girl in high school that gives people pause. But should Mark Sanchez be publicly skewered for his alleged entanglement with this high schooler? Especially if he didn’t know. The two reportedly met at a Manhattan nightclub, which probably had an age requirement to get in, so he probably assumed she was older right off the bat.

So a somewhat precarious situation for the football star who will hope there is no harmful ramifications for the situation.

Right off the back of the controversy of the New York Jets trainer purposely tripping an opposing player during a game, the team have another scandal to deal with as they prepare for the playoffs. Website Deadspin has unearthed some foot-fetish videos that were posted on youtube depicting what many believe to be, Rex Ryan's wife, Michelle (pictured left with Rex).
