On the holidays, TV sports shows tend to show feature programmes that are meant to tug at the heart strings of viewers and tonight sees CBS' NFL pregame show feature a show in the late Cincinnati Bengal Chris Henry which saw host James Brown get chocked up on the reflection of the legend. It features Henry's mother, Carolyn Henry Glasby, talking about the recipients of organs from her son, who died in an accident last year at age 26.

Following the report, an overcome Brown said "wow" and was unable to continue speaking. 

Colleague Boomer Esiason stepped in and told viewers he'd signed up to be an organ donor and reminded that "you too can give the gift of life. … I just want to say to Carolyn, as the father of a cystic fibrosis patient who may some day have to go through a lung transplant: you have touched millions today with your story and thank you so very much for being a hero today."

So a touching story which is sure to see a few more tears shed on watching it and is a nice testament to the great character of Chris Henry.
