Conan O'Brien begins his new venture post-"Tonight Show" with his new late night show called the "Pale Whale". The beardy TV show host and Twitter celebrity asked artist Yiying Lu to create his own take on Twitter's "Fail Whale". Lu also sees a new start up she will be launching in San Francisco in December.

Let's hope O'Brien's new show on TBS avoids the outages the "fail whale" made famous on Twitter. In the meantime, Twitter co-founders Evan Williams and Biz Stone are going to make an appearance Wednesday on Jimmy Fallon's late-night show. Fallon, a technophile, is also into Twitter. It remains to be seen if these tweeting hosts of late-night shows can help bring the popular Internet service more into the mainstream.

So a return to late night viewing for the famous red haired comic who was a big hit towards the late 90's.
