slacker radio

slacker radio

The Slacker's radio is an ideal function for people who want to personalise their online radio settings and music they want to listen to. It first appeared on the internet back in 2007 and is still a favourite amongst many radio listeners. You can stream it on your PC at www.slacker.com or on a mobile handheld using wi-fi and satellite distribution and portable players.

“Personalized radio is a great way to listen to the music you love without having to work at it,” said Dennis Mudd, CEO of Slacker. “The only problem is that until now, personalized radio has been stuck on the PC. Slacker solves that problem. Now you can just kick back and listen.” What’s the point? Well, Slacker Radio has millions of songs and you can build more than 10,000 stations around different artists. Combine artists, genres and share them with friends. Unfortunately it's a feature that is only available in the United States.

So a really impressive feature that can stop you wasting time listening to music you don't want to and you can also get it whilst you're out and about.
